Ashcott FC was formed during the summer of 2013 in preperation for the 2013/2014 season. AFC was formed by a merger of Ashcott Youth FC and Abbey Moor FC to combine junior & senior football into one family club that can provide football for all ages.

The new club continues to use the Ashcott Coronotion playing fields as it's home ground as is currently assisting the playing fields comittee with it's aim to create a new pavilion at the field.

History

Ashcott Youth

Ashcott Youth were established in 1997, by a group of parents living in the village who wanted to provide a place for children in Ashcott and surrounding villages to come together and play football.

Abbey Moor

Abbey Moor were established in 2007 (formerly The Countryman) .

Abbey Moor Sunday played in the Uxella Bridgwater Sunday Football League. Abbey Moor Saturday were a new team that was merged, formerly Charlton, and played in the Yeovil and District League.
